Science on Screen: A Virtual Q&A with Filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy
Thursday, September 24, 2026, 7:00 - 8:00 PM CT
Join us for “Science on Screen”, a virtual Q&A with Scott Hamilton Kennedy, Academy Award-Nominated filmmaker, journalist, and educator, and Director of “Shot in the Arm”. This documentary explores the history of vaccine hesitancy and its relevance today.
This event will bring together parents, grandparents, caregivers, survivors, health professionals, educators, and advocates across the state to discuss how vaccine hesitancy and misinformation is impacting our communities and why now — more than ever — we need to make the pro-vaccine majority heard. Following the Director’s Q&A, you’ll hear directly from local pro-vaccine advocates about Wisconsin Families for Vaccines, what we’re doing to protect vaccine access in our state, and how you can get involved. Everyone who registers will receive free access to view “Shot in the Arm” for 72 hours.
Whether you’ve had a chance to watch the film or not, we hope you’ll join us for this timely discussion on an issue that is critical to protecting the health of our communities.
